Celebrating Our Third Year at the Gallery with the Divinely Talented ASHLEY CRAWFORD! We are Moving Forward into 0ur Third Year!

With the Divinely talented Ashley Crawford, we celebrated our Blessed Journey as a small business, Art Gallery, and mother daughter Team.  It has not been easy and both my mom and I, as well as our extended family and Tribe have been with us, prayed for our success, and we appreciate you all very very very much!!!

The excellent Souls who enter our Gallery and see more than just a "Painted Garden," are also the ones who touch us in such a way, we will never be the same.  Always Look Closer...  There are so many people who enter the Gallery and feel the palpable good energy and the Journey of Art.

Ashley and Tiffani

Ashley Crawford and her best friend, Cheryl Sarten, are two of these excellent Souls.  When Ashley's family surprised her with a painting from my Gallery, she was inspired to break out into Divine Song...  It was so beautiful, I could not help the happy tears from streaming down my face.

At our Celebratory event, Ashley sang two sets of three songs, all equally touching...

People came in from Whitaker Street  to hear her beautiful Song.  She is one of God's Sparrows and we are so thankful she shared her Divinity with us!!!

Love,

Tiffani

Cherry Blossoms: A Prayer, Hope, Beauty and Unity... 60" x 48" In the pemanent Collection of Emory University Ethics Division

"Cherry Blossoms: Hope, Beauty, Unity..." 60" x 48"

Tiffani was honored to paint and collaborate with the Ethics Department of Emory University during their 20th Consortium. It was a heartwarming and inspiring event, with some participants writing their personal Truths, thoughts, and quotes. Some wrote inspired by the Bible. There were so many diverse thoughts, feelings, and sentiments written over the day and a half. ALL inspired!

As participants wrote, Tiffani painted and connected their ephemera with branches and twigs and an abundance of pink cherry blossoms and Gold.

About Tiffani's Collaboration with Mary Ann Bowman Beil:  Tiffani has always considered Mary Ann a mentor and dearest Tribe member since 1999.  About Mary Ann:

MARY ANN BOWMAN BEIL:  An innovative and solutions-focused, healthcare executive for the past 22 years at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia, Mary Ann has devoted the past two years as the system's Ethics Officer to redesigning how ethics is integrated in healthcare operations in academic medicine. Her interest in narrative bioethics led to the exploration of collage as a way to think about expanding the ethical conversation to embrace the growing landscape of digital text and imaging in medicine. Mary Ann is a founding member of the Healthcare Ethics Consortium and currently serves on the organization's Board of Advisers.

Special thank you to Kathy Kinlaw:  Associate Director & Program Director, Health Science and Ethics Emory University Center for Ethics and Director, Healthcare Ethics Consortium, Assistant Professor, Pediatric.  A special thank you to Calrton Mackey:  Director, Ethics & the Arts Program Assistant Director, D. Healthcare Ethics Consortium and Emory University Center for Ethics’ 20th Annual Conference! Embracing Change: Balancing Innovation and Our Humanity

Tiffani Taylor will be collaborating with ethicist Mary Ann Bowman Beil, at Emory University during the 20th Annual Conference of the Healthcare Ethics Consortium to assist all of the conference attendees in the creation of a public piece of art that will reflect the ethicist's craft.

In celebration of the consortium's 20th year, participants will be invited to join in the creation of a public piece of art made up of the text and images that best reflect their experience and challenges as ethicists, professionals and caregivers.  Over the two days, they will join Tiffani and other artists applying their scraps of ethical work on a 60" x 48" canvas.  Guided by Tiffani Taylor, who is recognized nationally as a gifted painter and collage artist, Conference attendees will bring, create, write and apply special photographs, stamps, postcards, letters and images to be  adhered to the canvas.  All supplies and extra ephemera will be provided a gratis.  Protective smocks  and gloves will also be provided as each person lends their thoughts as part of the beauty.  Taylor will have a prepared, stained canvas, which--to her--is very much indicative of the ebb and flow of life and the human condition.

Participants will be applying their thoughts, energy, text and imagery to the canvas using archival methods Taylor has utilized in her fifteen years as a professional artist and owner of the Tiffani Taylor Gallery.  Taylor is an Alumna of the Savannah College of Art and Design (B.F.A. Painting, 2002, in which she graduated Valedictorian and M.A. in Art History, SCAD, 2003.)

During the two day Consortium, Ms. Taylor will paint cherry blossoms to symbolize Hope and Unity.  Taylor will also apply traditional gold leaf to make manifest the gestalt and value of the ideas and energy of all who contributed to the project.  The final painting will be donated to the Center for Ethics.

We are looking forward to a Beautiful Spring in Savannah, Georgia!

Dear Friends:

I have a feeling this year will be an especially BEAUTIFUL Spring in Savannah!  f you have not been to Savannah in the Springtime, I highly encourage you to come when you possibly can and experience the pink and white azaleas a bloom throughout our historic city, the friendly people (and array of absolute, eccentric, and lovely characters,) incredible array of restaurants and Art, Art, Art (as well as Antique Shops Galore!).  Meander through the Squares of oak trees and blooms, stumble upon Magic...

One of my most favorite squares:  Johnson Square.  The only square in Savannah without Spanish moss, there is always beautifully haunting music in the air (played by lone musicians,) as robins and squirrels play within the blooms and trees.  Enjoy the two fountains and sit upon one of the many benches, soaking in sunlight...  My favorite monument in Johnson Square:  A sundial is within the square accented with a mosaic at the base celebrating the city's founding.  A picture I took of the mosaic of a butterfly on the mosaic is below...  The actual Sundial was featured in my first Blog post.

I hope you can visit our authentic, beautiful city soon!!!

Love & Light,

Tiffani

A beautiful moment when a Buckeye Butterfly landed on the mosaic celebrating the year Savannah was settled, in 1734.  This was an inspirational moment for me, as an Artist--an Omen.
